The Way Ahead...

Tickford is owned by five shareholder-directors from the established management team at its Milton Keynes headquarters:

- Tony Braddon, Managing Director
- Dave Eddleston, Technical Director
- John Knight, Finance Director
- Paul Sayer, Operations Director
- George Waddell, Projects Director

Within six months of the buy-out, Tickford purchased Scott Gibbin, an established engine test and development company based in Peterborough. In 2009 the two test facilities were consolidated on to the Milton Keynes site.

Investment plans are being implemented to maintain and improve the facilities in line with customer needs, technology development and changes in legislation. 2010 will see the commissioning and operation of the first of a new generation of test cells and control systems.

The company has a committed workforce, many of whom have been with the company for many years. A development and recruitment plan is growing the number and capability of the staff coupled to strategic alliances with academic institutions and industry bodies.
